Vicki joined ICS in 2016 as the registered manager of our Hartshill home before becoming operations manager in 2017. Vicki has overall responsibility for overseeing the running of our registered homes. Vicki is also the registered manager of our Hartshill and Wembrook homes. Vicki has gained a wealth of experience working in a variety of clinical health and social care settings.
Bev Oddy is the deputy manager of for our Hartshill and Wembrook homes, Bev joined ICS as a support worker in 2014 before being promoted to deputy manager in 2017.
Registered to provide residential care for four adults with a learning disability and additional needs; which include physical disabilities (the home does not provide nursing care).
The home comprises of a large entrance hall with disabled access separate lounge (20 m2) with views over the extensive landscaped grounds, large domestic style kitchen breakfast room fully equipped with modern appliances kitchen (15.9 m2), a separate dining room (14.9 m2) leads through to a beautiful conservatory (8.8 m2) overlooking extensive landscaped grounds. The home is located just off the main road leading to Nuneaton town centre, a journey of approximately one mile, the home is close to local bus services, shops, and pubs, doctors, dentist.
There are three large fully equipped bedrooms on the ground floor (15.9 m2, 16 m2, 14.3 m2). Additionally, there is also a utility/laundry room and a fully fitted disabled shower/ wet room with toilet and a further separate disabled toilet. A staircase leads to a further fourth bedroom (17.6 m2) with separate en-suite facilities, there is also a sleeping in room/office for staff, and a very large 2nd fully equipped bathroom with bath and separate shower. (13.5 m2).
Organisational Structure of the Home
The person responsible for the day-to-day running of the home is the home manager who has relevant qualifications and experience. A deputy manager aids the home manager in the running of the home; in addition, there are additional support workers with a wealth of specific experience and qualifications. All members of staff undertake sleep in duties to provide night cover for the home.
